I can hardly believe I’m in the last few weeks of my sabbatical. It’s been a beautiful time, from the perfect week in Paris, to a literary exploration in Oxford England, to weeks in the French countryside where I’ve read, written, reflected, and dreamed to my heart’s content. I’ve also eaten a lot of croissants. And I’ve thought a lot about how I’d like you to join me on a Trauma Healing or Trauma Training Retreat!
I’ve been exploring some locations for potential trauma healing retreats and therapist training retreats along the way, from Belgium to Spain and everywhere in-between. You know I believe deeply in the power of retreats. The retreats I offer at the cottage in Bucks County are their own form of transformational magic, and I feel so lucky every day that it’s the work I do. And I joined the training team of Wellness Counseling Inc. this year and began providing therapist training retreats all over the world, which introduced me to the power of group retreats! I’m looking forward to sharing some new offerings in 2027, including bringing group healing treats to the cottage and to some beautiful international destinations…and to teaching therapists my intensive model while they are on retreat! (And yes, there will be therapist continuing education credits!)
One of my favorite group retreat experiences so far was in Panama. I’m not a person who loves tropical places…in fact, I prefer a rainy day over a sunny one! -but there is something so special about Selva Terra Private Island Resort in Panama, both about the land and the staff who curate magical experiences there.

So I decided to offer healing AND training retreats at Selva Terra in Panama, and then I made a list of possibilities so that I can hear from each of you!
Check out this link to share your thoughts about retreats with me in 2027 and beyond. I’m in a phase of dreaming and creating here, so all thoughts are welcome! I’ll be offering some “healing retreats” (similar to what I do 1:1 at the retreat cottage, but for groups), and some “training retreats” (open to therapists, coaches, and other healers who want to learn how to work in an intensive format, or to incorporate parts informed trauma sensitive yoga into their practice). Options include everywhere from the retreat space in PA to some of the beautiful destinations I’ve been able to visit this year, but I’m also curious about your dream destination, so please share it in the survey with me.
