Therapist Experientials
Are you ready to tap into your full potential as a healer?
Join me for a therapist experiential!
Use the transformative power of EMDR and IFS to befriend your parts and transform your practice, both personally and professionally.
Need to know more about who I am first? Good idea! Start here.
What is a Therapist Experiential?
As a therapist or another kind of healer, you carry the weight of so much every day. We all know the old adage that we “can’t pour from an empty cup”, but let’s be honest, life just keeps filling our cups.
Yours probably feels like it’s overflowing- and not in a good way! I’ve been there. And I’m here to help you through.
Whether it’s the weight of the trauma history that caused you to become a healer in the first place, the exhaustion of caretaking for everyone around you, or maybe even the changes brought by perimenopause or the crushing horror of being a therapist at this time, you have given so much. It’s time for you to be given back to.
And if you’ve been interested in transforming your own clinical practice, perhaps to offer intensive therapy, move towards more holistic healing, or in other ways, experiencing it for yourself is the best place to begin. As we work together, we will not only free you from what’s been holding you back, but we will also design a roadmap for your future.
During your therapist experiential, you will stay at my therapy retreat cottage in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The focus will be just you and your healing for the entire time you are here. In addition to IFS Informed EMDR to unburden the parts of you who have been stuck, you will be offered opportunities to participate in trauma-sensitive yoga, movement therapy, ecotherapy, massage therapy, aromatherapy, sound therapy, art therapy, and more.
You will work with Charity to determine your specific agenda based on your preferences and needs for the retreats. At your therapist experiential, you’ll embark on a holistic healing journey and be guided with compassion every step of the way. Each retreat is carefully designed to create a safe and supportive environment for transformation…both for you as a person, and for your therapy practice.
While every experiential is fully customizable depending on your unique goals, most blend 2-5 days of healing work with 12 months of ongoing consultation to keep you connected to and nourishing your new dream.
A Therapist Experiential could be for you if…
You are a therapist or another kind of healer who is burned out, stuck, or overwhelmed.
You know you have parts that are protecting you from having the practice and life you dream of, you just aren’t sure what to do about it.
You’ve been trying your best, doing all the “right” things and all the “best” trainings and yet still spinning your wheels.
You like cost-effective and time-efficient ways of getting things done.
You like traveling to new cozy places and practicing self care for body, mind, and spirit.
You need to just get away for a while and experience a nervous system reset!
Please note: My consult calendar is usually fully booked. Use the “contact me” page if you cannot schedule a consult.

Is this only for therapists?
While I work particularly well with therapists, healers of all kinds are welcome to apply for a therapist experiential.
How many days will I need?
This will depend on your unique goals, but I work with most therapists from 2-5 days. Ongoing consultation is also available.
If I Live Out of State, Can I Still Come?
Yes! People travel from all over the world to work with me.
What is the investment?
Prices vary depending on your goals, although a general ballpark is $2000 per day and $200 per ongoing consultation hour. Because this is part of your professional development, many therapists consider it a business expense that quickly pays off as they book their own intensives.

Can this be done virtually?
If you are located in Pennsylvania, telehealth may be an option, although most therapists find that the “retreat” portion is very important for their nervous system reset. However, all experientials are fully tailored to your unique needs and goals.
What's Included?
While every experiential is tailored to your exact goals, most people work with Charity for 6 hours per day. We will blend IFS Informed EMDR and somatic work to unburden what has been keeping you stuck.
In addition, you’ll have a cozy B&B experience that will attend to all aspects of yourself, body, mind, and spirit. Three meals a day will be provided through Daily Harvest. The cottage is fully stocked with every self care item you could dream of, from an infrared Bio Mat to luxury bath products to a hot tub. During your intensive, you won’t have to worry about where to stay, what to eat, or what to do.
A pre-intensive preparation course (10 hours of video content you can return to again and again) and a workbook are also included with every intensive.
Every experience is fully customizable.
What will I be learning?
Depending on your goals, you may find that you deepen your practice of EMDR, of parts work, of somatic work, or of holistic healing modalities. As we experience them together, you will learn the confidence needed to share them with others from lived experience, not just the classroom setting.
Many therapists schedule experientials with me because they want to work with pre-verbal trauma, and this benefits especially from doing the work experientially yourself.
What's the first step?
Schedule a free consult with me so we can meet and talk about whether this is a good fit for you. If it is, we will schedule two 2-hour appointments: one to explore your personal history, and one to explore your professional history. From there we will identify your goals for your experiential.
Please note: My consult calendar is usually full, but you can always reach out via the “contact me” form.
