Do you accept insurance?
I believe it is important to join with my client in making decisions together that are best for them, and not based on what insurance will cover out of medical necessity. For this reason, I do not accept insurance. I do offer a Good Faith Estimate for Out of Network Services provided, as per the No Surprises Act, and a Superbill upon request.
What are your fees?
My fee for weekly individual therapy is $200 a session. Information about fees for intensive EMDR therapy, Solo Healing Retreats, and training and consultation is available upon request. Please note than intensive therapy is a more cost-effective way to complete trauma therapy than weekly appointments are. I accept debit and credit cards and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) cards through my HIPAA-secure practice management system.
Do you offer telehealth?
I offer teletherapy (online counseling) for people residing anywhere in the state of Pennsylvania. Clients local to Bucks County, Montgomery County, the Lehigh Valley, Philadelphia, or northern New Jersey will find in-person intensives convenient to them. Clients who reside further away may wish to consider an in-person multi-day immersive retreat experience.

How do I know if you are the right therapist for me?
I believe that finding the right fit is one of the most important predictors of whether therapy will be successful for you. Click here to schedule a free consultation with me where we will discuss what you are looking for, what I can offer, and whether I would be the best fit for you.
Do you work with children, couples, and families?
I am an expert in working with adults who have experienced trauma, and do not provide therapy for children, couples, or families. Couples Healing Retreats are available.
What is EMDR and how can it help me?
What is EMDR?
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an evidence-based psychotherapy technique used to relieve psychological distress. It is an effective treatment for trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
How can EMDR help me?
Intensive EMDR experiences can allow you to heal from your trauma and move back into living your life fully more quickly than traditional weekly therapy. We do this by immersing ourselves fully into processing your trauma over a several day period. This is an intense experience but one that we honor fully by using somatic therapies and Internal Family Systems to hold the space safely for all parts of you at all times.
I also acknowledge that words such as “intensive” and “quickly” are concepts that may not resonate with everyone. I am happy to provide referrals for therapists who work in a weekly setting if an intensive or immersive is not the right fit for you.
If you are interested in finding out if an intensive could be right for you, contact me to schedule a free consultation. In meeting you where you are at through the intake process, I take the time to listen to who you are as a person. This includes not only how your trauma has shaped you, but also exploring who you can be when you are free from your trauma. We will work together to find your path to healing.
